WORLD champion Tim Reed survived a tough challenge from Michael Raelert of Germany to win the Foremost Ironman 70.3 Thailand at the Laguna Phuket yesterday. Amelia Rose Watkinson of New Zealand captured the women’s title to add to her Laguna Phuket Triathlon crown won last week.

Around 1,400 triathletes from 61 countries including German Michael Raelert, fresh from making it two in a row at the Laguna Phuket Triathlon, and Ironman 70.3 world champion Tim Reed from Australia will be against one another in the Foremost Ironman 70.3 Thailand, which is due to take place this Sunday at Laguna Phuket.
